Aims of Our School

  • To provide a happy, caring and well motivated ethos and environment within the school for all concerned.

  • To ensure that all of the children are given the opportunity to develop to their full potential in all areas throughout he school and in all of its associated activities.

  • To provide a realistic structured but flexible approach to children's education, enabling pupils to acquire and evaluate knowledge, skills and attitudes, relevant to life.

  • To ensure that children are literate and numerate and can apply these skills purposefully in a wide range of meaningful activities.

  • To help children to develop a tolerance and respect for others, their religious, race, moral and social values.

  • To help children to improve their behaviour and self discipline through a system of praise, reward and positive re-enforcement.

  • To ensure all pupils are treated as equal individuals, irrespective of their sex, colour, race or creed.

  • To foster and develop a close and co-operative relationship between school and parents.
